Alexa.com – These is the site where you can see lots of metrics about your own site and that of others in our niche.  

Canva.com – This is the site where you can easily create graphics for Facebook posts… and a ton of other things.  The service is FREE, and they have a lot of free images you can use.  You can also purchase their premium images for $1 each.  Great site.  I create all my FB posts here now, as well as my FB cover images, YouTube cover images, Twitter cover images and a host of other things.  it’s great.  I’ll be creating a Video-based Ignition Plan for this as well, so I can walk you through this on screen. 

Branding – we talked about branding on the call, which is about the kind of feeling you want to convey about you and your brand.  Do you want your brand to feel corporate and professional? whimsical? fun? Compassionate? Knowledgable but approachable? Affordable or High End?  In any case, the images we use, the words we use, the font we use, our pricing for our programs, what we name our programs… all conveys to our audience what kind of brand we are.  Below are some links to examples I shared on the call:

SEOWorks – Great example of a website that carries the Australian theme throughout with the images of animals.

SimpleGreenSmoothies.com – Again, a really tight brand.  Notice the consistency of the font, the black and white labels, and the simplicity of the site which helps to convey the idea of “simple green smoothies’. 

Brendon Burchard’s Youtube Channel – Notice the unique look of black and white video and the simple font.  The videos are also shot from 3 unique angles, which is another form of branding.

Marie TV – Check out Marie Forleo’s YT show.  More whimsical and fun, but continues to have a consistent look and feel and colors and style, which carries through to her website as well.
